Faith | Work | Culture

Friends, are you ready to start breaking cultural lies? If so, you are in for a treat today! I’m excited to welcome Michelle Myers, She Works His Way founder, to the She Impacts Culture Podcast! She Works His Way is a non-profit discipleship community for working women that exists to strengthen the churches and stir one another up to love and good works.

In today’s episode, Michelle and I chat about:

💥 The biggest cultural lies that Christian women are being fed
💥 The real definition of success and how culture is promoting success at all costs
💥 Why “better life balance is not the solution”

Friends, I don’t know about you, but when I look around, I see a lot of women today who are stressed, anxious, and unfulfilled in their personal and professional lives. Why? Because the world’s ways don’t work. Pursing the world’s definition of success and life balance leaves us even more desperate for peace, joy, and fulfillment. I pray that as you listen in today, God will refresh you as you seek Him first.

Michelle Myers is the founder of She Works His Way, a non-profit discipleship community for working women that exists to strengthen the churches (Acts 15:41) and stir one another up to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). With the gospel as the foundation, Michelle helps put practical steps to the ultimate goal of living for the glory of God and the good of others. Most recently, she co-authored a book with her best friend, Somer Phoebus, called She Works His Way: A Practical Guide for Doing What Matters Most in a Get Things Done World. She and her husband, James, live in Asheville, NC, where James is the Central Discipleship Pastor at Biltmore Church, with their three children: Noah, Cole, and Shea.
