Today’s guest is Courtney Moore, the Founder, and President of Women & Work, as well as a co-host of the Women & Work podcast.  She holds a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Mobile and an MA in Biblical Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Courtney is passionate about seeing Jesus Christ honored by women as they steward their gifts and leverage their potential for His glory. She has been married to Brent for 15 years, they have three great kids & live in El Paso, TX where Brent pastors Life Church.

In today’s episode, Courtney and I chat about women and work. We talk about being a steward of the skills God has given us and glorifying God through these skills. We explore the difference between “hustle culture” and seeing your work as a form of worship and the difference between worldly success and godly success. Lastly, we chat about how “Caleb had a different spirit” according to Numbers 14:24 and what this means for faith-based professional women.

If you find yourself wrestling with how to best serve the Lord through your work, then this is the episode for you.  Today, may you know that your work matters to God. You are making a difference for the kingdom of God.
