Personal Branding is Not Evil
I get it. Putting yourself out there is hard and uncomfortable. What will people think? What will people say? Is it even “godly” to promote myself and what I offer, online?
I know how frustrating and overwhelming it can all be.
But here’s the truth: You can leverage your platforms to accomplish your God-given goals and live out your calling. “Personal branding,” “promotion,” and/or “influence” are not bad, evil words.
I believe that far too many are feeling insignificant when truthfully, they have been called to be influential. Think about it:
💥 Joseph: Went from feeling insignificant (especially by his brothers) to influential, saving a nation.
💥 Esther: Went from unknown and feeling insignificant to being known by the king and influential, saving her people.
💥 Moses: Went from self-doubting, timid and feeling insignificant to influential, leading many.
And guess what? You too have been called to be influential. You’ve been called to use your story, expertise, knowledge, and influence (yes, you have influence) for a greater good. Don’t let the feelings and words that the enemy has attached to you, keep you from being the influential leader that you have been called to be!
